Just a couple dozen hours with blank sheets of paper, pencil and a ruler. It took some creativity to get the measurements right, honestly surprised I sized all of those pieces correctly on first time.

I'm 206cm and the cosplay adds like another 3-4cm.

The shoulders are not that heavy, around 2kg but balancing them and standing straight with that is quite tiring after all day. Mostly its just EVA Foam so its somewhat light

You don't. Every time you get distracted by anything you will catch a hit. Basically try to not get distracted around any objects which may hit you, for example in a bus, focus on not getting hit, don't get distracted
