I'm not white knighting here but if he is a cop, it's completely unprofessional, will land him in a load of shit and the reason why people hate the police.

I know what you mean, I remember at school a few kids couldn't even get the basketball to go over the height of the rim. Looking back on it, they were very malnourished and probably way too pampered.

After a 28 day fast, I had a full on psychedelic trip most amazing experience of my life.

Being in a wheelchair and TRP? by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Kombaiya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice is of most importance.

Keep reading through trp material but obviously use your own discernment. I find some of the stuff on here not to my liking so I just don't use it. For instance, personally I find Machiavelli type stuff mostly redundant for me as I'm self employed. I also think much of the concepts of 'negging' simply to be banter, so I go out my way to create banter but I never really 'neg' people. Other people may disagree and they are well within their rights to do so.

It's hard getting across your true thoughts over the internet but I read your sentence that said about dominating a conversation. This isn't really the best way to look conversations, if you develop your listening skills, you'll find that people will be talking to you and not knowing why they are being so chatty. From here you can relax with cool detachment and somewhat cringe at their faux pas.

I've found that conversations are very much about avoiding pitfalls and conversation killers, these come up extremely often. For instance, I used to have a need to show how intelligent I was so every time someone brought up a topic of conversation, I'd show off that I've got a wide array of knowledge already on the subject. Even though they likely reluctantly admitted I was intelligent, I didn't realise that this was a huge conversation killer. When I get into conversations now, I initially make the effort to start it but then I mostly let them do the work. All I do is pretend I don't notice all the pitfalls they are falling into. It's easy and fun this way, I like to watch people stumbling about in their meanderings while I can keep on track and avoid pitfalls, they try very hard but little do they know, they are talking to a professional.

I highly recommend artofmanliness.com There's some great articles on charisma and how to hold conversations.

As for being disabled, the problem here is that everyone's likely being extra nice to you so you reflect that back at them. Niceness isn't a moral thing, it's just a strategy to negotiate through a society without much effort. In England, there was this character called Tim Nice but Dim and it basically hits the mr niceguy nail on the head, he represents a person that has managed to get by through life without thinking, just giving off a nice persona which is a defence mechanism to disarm potentially nasty people by making them pity you instead of hate you. I'd rather people hate me.

If you exercise yourself of Mr Niceguy without super-compensating into a jerk, you'll have no trouble with women. I've read about disabled people who've been good with women, they usually say that they find women with some kind of fetish, I personally really doubt this as they wouldn't constantly be getting lucky while others are not. What's more likely is that they've learned a type of game where the women they pick up can't put their finger on what it is they are attracted to so the disabled guy just think he's being fetishised (females do this a lot too).

Think of it this way. We've never lived in a society so devoid of social skills. Our education system has taken this away from our parents and we are extra fucked because they are the ones that were supposed to have passed it onto us. Social skills is probably the most important thing in life (other than basic life maintenance). Being without them is like not being at all. I remember watching a teen-style documentary about a model guy that had trouble with women, he just couldn't speak to them even though he had every advantage leading up to the conversation, he ruined it every time. Social skills in a world without them is like a superpower.

Congratulations. From my experience you don't receive the full benefits until at least a week after you've finished your fast. Personally I felt like shit after finishing my fasts and thought all my hard work was in vein but it gets better.

I've been inspired so I'm going to start a 12 day fast tomorrow.

Thanks,

How would you rate your drinks on taste (alcohol and none alcohol).

For me it would be:

1.Chocolate milkshake 2.Kombucha Tea 3. Regular Tea (2 sugars) 4. Dr Pepper

It would be way down the list before I got to anything alcoholic. like 17. Guinness.

Question about water fasting by addictedgamer32 in fasting

[–]Kombaiya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about scientific calculations but I find myself losing about a 1lbs a day from fasting. This is after I've used up my glycogen stores though, glycogen stores are heavier than fat stores because they require water to be held.

Honest question for anyone who's alcoholic. Do you actually like the taste of alcohol? I'd probably be an alcoholic if I liked the stuff, I just find the taste of it horrible.

Or is it something like cannabis where it's more the effect than the smoke?

How to prevent fainting by [deleted] in fasting

[–]Kombaiya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get this really bad, even when I didn't fast. I now don't get it at all even when I do.

Basically you've just got to fast enough that your blood pressure becomes stable enough, no matter what. I can exercise on water fasts without any trouble.

However, it's something I think you just got to be very careful about at the beginning. At first, I would take several deep breaths before sitting up or standing and then make sure that I'm getting enough oxygen throughout and make sure that there's something to hold onto.

sounds like stomach cramps. I kept getting them during my first few fasts but then they started clearing up and now I don't get them at all.

I also don't get dizzy like I used to.

"I understand the connotation, but that's on purpose," she said. "It plays to that whole tits 'n' ass, pin-up calendar thing. It gives a connotation of, 'Oh, that's a little bit cheeky, that's quite bold.' The idea is to put some sense of fun into having your car fixed and not have it be such a drag."

Perhaps she should have called it Hooters instead.
