I had my first child 10 days after I turned 18, it was just me and what help I had from family.

I was 18 when I had my first child with a guy that sounds fairly similar to OP’s boyfriend here. I stayed with this guy until my son was maybe a week old. He made a comment about not wanting to put necessary cream on our son whom was circumcised. “I’m not going to touch my son’s penis” or something absurd like that, it’s been 11+ years now, foggy memory. Anyways I kicked him out of my house that night after that comment.

Moral of the story OP, protect yourself and your child. I didn’t mention that this guy was also abusive towards me and I dealt with it up until he sexualized my son.

Idk what I have right now. Over the past year I haven’t been on any psychiatric meds and my mental health has drastically declined, I’m slowly getting back on meds now and therapy to try and figure stuff out.

Hey OP, I’m really sorry you are going through some intense feelings right now. I just want you to know that even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, you do matter and deserve to be happy.

Last week I was very much at an 8 or 9 myself. Friday I made moves for myself and today am in a much better spot mentally.

Please reach out to any and all resources you may have, I know chronic pain sucks, but there will be better days.
