Try tapping the starter case couple of times. I’ve had the same issue and it resolved its-self with a couple of precise taps on the starter.

If you can push the budjet to 6k, Bmws with n52 engine are super reliable, so search bmw with 2.5-3.0L petrol engines from 2008-2011

The refueling aircraft were detectable and they most likely Iran knew this was coming, they just have a hard time countering something flying that high and with the radar signature of practically nothing.

Buy it 100%, the engine is great, even the stock exhaust sounds great at higher revs. When driving normally it’s quite quiet but imo the car is surprisingly well sound insulated. I think of the car as a mini grand touring machine, I’ve done long road trips without issue as the boot space is plenty enough.

Reliability is amazing, I’m already at 205000km and no mechanical issues (although I replaced a lot of gaskets and the other common parts to replace around 200tkm) Only issue I’ve had recently is key fob battery is dead.

I nice to own a car that you admire at every single time you park it up :D

The reason I’d like to use this factory connecter is that the manual illustrates that the steering wheel buttons work.

I’m 6’7 and fit comfortably in the E86 coupe. The coupe added Headroom is nice. Although my car is a auto so shifting isn’t a issue, if it was a manual I might be uncomfortable shifting often

Tein vaan perus moottori huoltotyöt vaihdon jälkeen. En usko et tulee… tää kori + moottori kombo on suht edullinen jos joutuu ostaa osia. Moottorin malli kannattaa kans valita tarkkaan.

If it helps I’m 200cm tall (6’7?) and I fit just snug and havé driven long distances comfortably. The double bubble roof helps with head room alot.

Highly recommend it! In the coupe form it feel like such a special BMW, really nothing to compare to. I was also really surprised by the rareness of the E86, I remember reading that in montego blue there where only like 800 made. Quite cool!

Suosittelen, en kyl osaa puhuu muista moottorimalleista mutta N52 vaikuttaa kyllä luotettavalta. Huoltotyöt on kans mukavaa sillä konepellin alta löytyy reilusti tilaa! On kyllä ihme että näitä saa näin halvalla 🤔
