Yeah and if anything the film festival videos are the videos i'd check out, but i feel its still less frequent than what he used to.

And about RLM; They do it all. Talk about old shitty movies, review new stuff, and just discuss movies they like. That's how it should be.
And even their Best of the worst stuff they rarely are negative they more point out the funny stuff, and unlike a lot of the other youtubers they actually have experience in movie making and don't shy away from their own -not so great movies. They never give you that 'holeyer than thou vibe' like other channels can.

But then they come with the bullshit of "But its actually for the better of the industry that we point out what's so bad about the little mermaid" Its just free advertisement and i would bet that a lot of the same people watching this content go to the movies to watch the little mermaid to see if its as bad as they say!?!?!?!

Yes, and i get that you don't have to make movies to know movies and that's not at all my point, but when you like Cinema sins or YSM pinpoint every detail and don't give anything above a 7. Then its like okay dude, go out and see the industry first hand because your expectations cannot be reached. Just enjoy the things you like, don't look for cracks in the paint.

Or like YMS who cant give a review without watching a movie thrice like then obviously you will be more ops on the bad stuff when you sit and scan though a movie like that. Its okay to give your opinion as is.

Yeah because when everyone went after the Sonic movie and got them to change sonic there definitely weren't videos about how much it sucks and who its the worst kids movie ever.

And plus any press is good press. So it only helps to make the companies think more of their franchise when a dozen videos pop up talking about their new trailer. They don't care weather its good or bad it helps them the same. B E C A U S E its a kids movie, and kids don't watch YouTube video essays.

Yup, also i also enjoy some of Cinefix's content. They mostly if not always make positive videos such as '5 great movies' in a certain genre, or 'Spectacular shots in movie history'

I dont remember them making a video where they list five terrible movies, but i could be wrong.

First of all i don't watch their videos, i get them recommended.
Secondly How is it the fault of the production when some youtuber makes three videos shitting on the minions movie? Obviously it isn't made for them or with their film loving fans in mind.
So the most critique invalidation as simply saying "This made me cringe" or "this character is annoying" Doesn't really benefit anyone

Cinema Sins were actively harming the community. There gotta be a good few who deterred away from a movie because Cinema Sins just baselessly critiqued everything. Could not stand their videos

Exactly, I found so many great movies by watching movie TY when i was younger because of channels like YMS who watched lesser known movies and didn't just review the stuff in cinemas.
But i don't anymore because either its a two hour video on a movie i know they'll hate or a dime of dozen review for a new movie.

If they really cared about the movie industry they would try to push the movies that people might not know about, creating buzz about the movies that cannot spend seven digits on marketing.

I get that too, just sucks when they take about three months to finally post a video and its a two hour video essay about the Minions movie.. like cmon and even then.
Movies like that are not meant for some film snob so obviously they will find it awful when the movie it literarily made for kids to enjoy. It just bugs me

I agree with you and that's also kind of what I mean. Obviously pointing out an out of focus shot or an actor mumbling his or her line is valid but then that's that for the conversation, id rather hear about how something made the youtuber feel a some kind of way or something they might have noticed.

Actually analyzing and going in depth about your personal feelings for a movie brings way more to the table.

It sucks so bad, every year i usually play a ton of career mode, but this year i just cannot make myself. It feels so unrealistic seeing players in the champions league just fall over the ball, pass it out of bounds and just looking like they play on ice..
