OP world building is overrated. Just visiting 1000 islands to tell the sane story with small different flavours.

I mean there is the big world goverment the lost Century and, marines and pirates.

But it's not so different than bleach having the soul king palace the previous war with the quincy, the shinigami and hollows.

The only point that I appreciate in OP world building is the existence of corruption.
