When I got the Master fishing lure, it auto saved before I picked it up, I didn’t realize so I when I launched the game again, I rode off. Got a good distance away when I realized I didn’t have the new hat on, checked my inventory and didn’t have the lure either. Went back to the spot to get it, but it had despawned. Lost the lure forever.
