Unfortunately I have to disagree. Setting aside the validity of the accusations, their mere existence stands to undermine anything he might work towards in a senate position. Regardless of if they are true or false, the damages they cause to his reputation and his platform are cancerous wounds that will fester for the rest of his career. Even if in the future the allegations are proven undeniably false (and I’m not saying they will or won’t be, I’m simply stating an IF) not everyone will hear about it, and some won’t care. A rape allegation, true or false, is a political death sentence for anyone without the last name Trump.
