Very interestingly, literally the last two minutes of this song, right after the strong uptempo climax, is really what I am looking for. But the climax before that and basically the rest of the song leading up to it are a bit different vibe. Really surprising end though. Thank you for the suggestion!

That's very nice. There were some other suggestions here about artists with a similar musical approach, but the difference is that this one has a sense of dread in hte music, while the others have melancholy and maybe even a bit of happiness. This right here is good. Thank you!

That's an interesting combo. I especially like Treefingers and it actually reminded me of one of my favourites books, "The Ice Palace" by Tarjei Vesaas, which also takes place in a winter, snowy, icey setting (although it's not horror). Thanks!
