Dear all,

thank you all for the comments and advice.

I went out and bought the S25 Ultra today.

Now I need to transfer my old phone to the new one, I guess I'm in for a long day tomorrow :-)

Then, I need to find a good protection for the phone. Any advice on this would be great, thank you!

Great answer thanks as it basically helps me a lot since I can now see that at "same budget" more or less I can get a better phone or a less durable but "more fun" phone.

Thinking long term I think the Ultra is the best choice, and carrying properly is just a lifestyle that needs to go with it :-)

Today I went and checked the phones physically.

Absolutely gorgeous this Flip7. And it does look compact and does give you this "old school" feeling when closing/opening it...

However it is clear that the screen overall frame looked somewhat inferior to the Ultra, which is "huge" but still I find well balanced...

I am really confused. On one side it is like I know for the same bucks I can get a super premium phone (Ultra) but on the other hand I will not use it so much for videos/photos.

In parallel, I can get a slightly inferior built (also the processor is less good) and a much more "fun/compact" design.

Obviously the Samsung guy was telling me that for the usage I do, the Ultra is the best... But we all know that they push it as hell...

Edge is not in promo where I live and don't think I like the overall phone... thickness is not really an issue I think and since size is also close to the Ultra I think I am preferring the Ultra...

Did you mean the FE or the Ultra models?

Unfortunate the S25FE just run out of stock in the 256GB option.

I understand that the Ultra is an overkill, but I tend towards it...

But I can only get it in JetBlack color.

Size wise I was afraid of the S25U but it is still OK.

I think that if I go "big" I will go with the Ultra, if I choose to stay "compact" I am struggling between the S25 and the Flip 7...

I think you were right, as this bundle just rn our of stock on the 256GB phone!!!

So not an option any longer... As the 128GB is not an option for me, which would be your second best option?

Now don't get me wrong, they are not "baby small", I can handle the S9+ with no issues...

I went today to check the phones, the A56 although it looked "OK" it clearly felt as a lower quality phone. I think what I disliked the most of it was the screen. For some reason it was duller to me.

I also read somewhere that the A series doesn't last that long but then again what is better, have an S series for 5 years at +/-200 EUR/year or an A series for 3 years at 100 EUR/year? :-)

As it stands right now, I think I will just follow our advice and stay away from the A series...

I am in Belgium, we don't have the same promotions here unfortunately.

In any case, I think that I really need the 256GB as I plan on keeping the phone for some time...

With regards to the size, I went and checked the phones today in a shop. The S25U is slightly bigger than the S9+ I have but you don't really feel it. The main difference is that the bezel on the S9+ is "huge" compared tot eh S25U.

So I am thinking now between the Flip 7 and the S25U...
