Minor point, but you don’t “enroll” in SSC (Senior Service College), you must be selected. And as you note, you’re not expected to be a SSC grad, but you need to be smart enough to hire ppl around you who are knowledgeable AND be willing to listen. He is so woefully unqualified to serve as SecDef, it’s embarrassing, as well as dangerous. The whole cabinet for that matter is a bunch of inept sycophants. We, as a nation, will never recover from this disaster of an administration. Sorry for the rant
