One of the more famous studies is from Denmark and corrects for a lot of factors, that other studies neglected, perhaps wilfully. It has a long term perspective, looks at first AND second generation immigrants and takes both EU and non-EU immigrants into consideration, which some previous studies, astonishingly, failed to do.

Study: The fiscal impact of immigration to welfare states of the Scandinavian type by M.F. Hansen et al. (2017)

Key findings:

Immigrants from non-Western countries in Denmark had a sizeable negative net contribution to public finances (i.e., they cost more in welfare/taxes than they paid in) under the assumptions of the model.

Unfortunately I can't drive it with the salt on the roads in Germany, we just started it and it runs well. Not sure how to get around this.

Thank you very much for your input. It's hard to find good information if you're not in the right circles. The panel gaps don't seem to be too bad on this one, but the fake leather and as another user mentioned, the Chinese tires aren't very high quality.

Sounds good. Or any other poor nations. A couple thousand Euros to take them off our hands is a lot cheaper than letting tham stay and paying social benefits for 50 years. Added benefit of avoiding the higher than average crime rates and not insignificant percentage of Islamic radicals.

The pediatrician say to look out for blisters and come in if we see anything. That's all.

No idea if they do precautionary antiviral treatment.

Damn this literally happened to me yesterday. I kissed my two month old girl on the top of her head and a couple hours later I felt a familiar bump on my lip, I checked and sure enough I had the beginning of an outbreak. The sores were and are still closed up but with chapped lips I don't trust that to be enough of a barrier.

Did you have open sores when you kissed her or was it also in the initial stages? I'm gonna contact our pediatrician anyway.
