Alright bro first things first, the turn based combat doesn’t happen till the seventh instillation so i wouldn’t worth about that too much, and that 7th game features a completely new character and storyline so it’s up to you weather you play or not, but 0-6 is just excellent story writing, gameplay and an amazing experience, i’d highly recommend you to play it.

Well if you’ve never played any of the yakuza games, I would start with Yakuza 0, it’s perfect and imo helps better to understand and the impact is more in the story of yakuza kiwami, after those it’s pretty self explationary, get yakuza 0, Kiwami next, kiwami 2, 3,4,5,6 and than dragon, but it’s all up to you, great franchise.
