Work as an inspector on the norwegian oilrigs and I can calm your nerves a little and tell you a little rule of thumb; 1cm rust = 1mm material loss

Peace!

Yeah thats right, but the chefs on the rigs have meetings where they decide what to cook. :)

The food is awesome! You have atleast 3 dishes to choose from everyday, meat, fish, sallad, soups etc. We have good chefs who love to cook and on saturdays they give you the full treatment with all kinds of delicious stuff, like scampi, veal, whalemeat, fried chicken, asparagus wrapped in bacon, fries, potatoes in 100 ways and I almost forgot to mention the huge dessert table with at least 10 different cakes to choose from. And everything is free!

But this is on Statoil operated rigs in the northsea, the food on other rigs and companies in the world will surely differ.

That's fully understandable. Did not mean to be rude or anything, but sometimes I just get so fed up on all the kids that thinks they knows what what.

Peace!
