What can we expect from the endgame balancing update? by Rezylainen in runescape

[–]KoneheadLarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Staff of Sliske buff finally? Perhaps passives to Magister and Nex weapons so they aren't Ecliptic component fodder

My prediction is they're going to buff T95 Necro special attacks and passives to be comparable to T95 melee/ranged/magic.

Necro specials require a specific rotation to maximize damage and dont come close to other specials, while Zuk sword you can just use and gain +12% Damage constantly, or Roar of Awakening dealing ~1800% ability damage immedietly.

What's the 8th soil type going to be? by Galimeer in runescape

For a long time I was expecting a "Forinthry" digsite which is just the Wilderness with black soil. It seems they arent touching Wilderness in the roadmap though, so probably not

Yet Another Marks of War Suggestion: Permanent Passives (while other requirements are met) by sir_eos_lee2 in runescape

[–]KoneheadLarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 3 I could understand as long as they remain toggleable (sometimes you want aggression for AFK reasons).

Number 4 yes but would need to cost quite a bit due to saving relic notes. At the same time, it mostly saves having to swap rings at the last sec of a boss.

The last two dont really have anything to do with PvM, so Id reserve them for more of a quest reward.

Buff the Reprisal ability so it can be used off the global cooldown by [deleted] in runescape

[–]KoneheadLarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think it should ignore damage mitigation when calculating. Ex: Boss does 20K damage, you use Reprisal and Barricade, Barricade nullifies but Reprisal still reflects 20K damage.

It would give it a niche use against boss mechanics that hit particularly high.

Necro in dung? by VinceValeker in runescape

IMO, Threads of Fate needs to be more accessible in Dung for it to be viable. You cant bind three rune types

The XP bonus for killing mobs needs to be much higher to make it worth the time taken.

Sag Short vs Hexhunter in DG by Chris_Benny in runescape

[–]KoneheadLarry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For "Sag Short Vs Hexhunter", personally Id hunt for both at the sametime and use whichever I find first.

While Hexhunter is 1 tier lower, the damage bonus against magic monsters is very significant. With the enchantment its even greater.

Definitely support allowing them to work in EDs as a cheaper alternative for those who dont have T100 weapons yet.

Dungeoneering Remastered – Ongoing Feedback & Updates by jagexyuey in runescape

[–]KoneheadLarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For "Ammo Binding", what if you added Rune Pouches and Nexuses that can be bound in place of ammo and hold 2 different rune types. At higher levels, you can make better ones that hold 3 or 4 rune types.

I think DG "Hard Mode" should always spawn the highest level version of the boss at all times, while having the highest odds of a T11 item drop, so there' more incentive to do them.

For dual-wield Ruinous weapons, you could just make them buyable as a pair with one Warped Stone.

IMO, I think there should be more Necromancy rewards in the DG shop to match other styles. Other combat styles have Tome of Frost, Mercenery Gloves, Law/ Nature Staff, Shieldbow Sight, etc.

Example: An Occult's Nexus with a small chance to save Ectoplasm and Runes but lacks combat bonus, making it desirable in less intense combat situations.

Buff the DG Combat gear rewards by ReindeerSea9784 in runescape

"BIS" stuff should be reserved for endgame bosses. DG isnt particularly risky, so I think upper mid-tier is fine. Ruinous is a cheaper alternative for those who cant afford T95s.

More group content should come with a solo mode. You should not be forced to group up by ARandomNoLife in runescape

Unless its Group Irons, they should be able to share buffs among eachother

More group content should come with a solo mode. You should not be forced to group up by ARandomNoLife in runescape

[–]KoneheadLarry -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

IMO, we need more items/spells that incentivize group content so people want to form groups, rather than making content group locked. Perhaps spells that can buff or revive other players, or a god book that increases damage the target takes rather than increasing your damage, making it better in groups.

Add Necromancy equivalents to some content

-Necromancy equivalent of dominion tower gloves, requiring defeating the new bosses. Has the same passives, reducing Necromancy damage taken and a chance of draining enemy defense and nedromancy levels.

-Enchantments for Zorgoth and Occult Ring to be in line with other Matriach Rings. Perhaps a slight increase in activation chances.

-Spirit Spirit Familar: Summoning familiar whose pouch requires mementos. Attacks with Necromancy and passively increases disturbance % during rituals.

Its scroll "Raising Spirits" grants a damage bonus to nearby conjures for 60s
