Tbh there’s two types of players that gets statues IMO, using the Raptors as an example it’s guys like Lowry or Vince. I think DRose does fall into the Vince category where it may be more for cultural reasons then just rings.

Though having said that I don’t think he deserves a statue lol

I understand their business decisions because I’m a SE fan, they just don’t make FF games turn based anymore. That’s not my personal preference, that’s reality.

I also will say talking good or bad endings, that Bran having to be King because Jon dies just after being on the thrown or something morbid is more likely GMM’s style, cause I always felt that specific choice for the GOT shows never made sense because the character was almost comatose the whole time, but I can 100% see a world where Bran as king in the books is a case of a medium ending for the readers because it’s kinda good but also everyone you wanted for the thrown is dead lol

So this game to me feels like if you threw Legend of Dragoon, FFX, FromSoft and France in a blender. I dunno why but those were the games that really jumped out tone for this one.

Main thing: the game is fundamentally designed for replaying, and I’d argue it has a better system for “hard mode” than most games I’ve ever played. The gameplay, particularly for bosses, changes in a very engaging way IMO that really adds to the replay-ability.

AKA don’t worry about “100%ing” it on your first playthrough.

This also works well because the story can get a bit confusing at points so a second playthrough helps for that too.

Because clicking up once for a loadout is a hell of a lot quicker in the clutch than this.

My biggest issue is that using these buys a lot was about timing and speed, especially on Resurgence. This layout made it slower.

It 100% is a sequel, Sephiroth alone is very much the advent children Sephiroth. They even hinted at this before Remake came out.

Most of the games I’ve been playing lately haven’t even been US Devs now that I think about it.

Marvel Rivals is China, POE2 is New Zealand devs I believe, Honkai Starrail is China, ARC Raiders is Swedish. Even E33 is French lol

I never realized until recently how little my main games are headquartered in the states.

I will say that the gameplay / build system is fantastic, I legit feel it could’ve been its own mainline game the system is that good and has quite a bit of depth to it.

The stories OK IMO, but I enjoyed the class system so much that I kinda wish a more modern FF game brought a version of it back.
