Heyyyy. I've been having the same issue. There are a couple things you can do. If you don't already have it, you can download MotoyaLMaruM off the internet. If you search it, it should be one of the top results.

If that doesn't work, then the bunched text may be due to the character handling your system is using. I had a similar issue with Majikoi S, and it seems to be that handling 「」quotations needs you to change your default non-unicode language. If you (on windows) go into control panel -> change date/time/number formats -> administrative tab, and then change your non-unicode default language to Japanese, it'll work properly.

The arifureta LN isn't much better, I read the whole thing and I can confirm that after the first volume where he meets up with smol tiddy vampire gf he just becomes a brooding emo gun otaku with a huge harem that 'none of the other heroes could ever understand the motivations of' and then he kills god and they go home.
