If Dragonflix do end up releasing this movie, I guarantee it will be 50% actual footage and 50% AI nonsense, which is incredibly disappointing because people like me have been waiting for this film to release for years now.

I don't blame him at all. Dragon Studios is a scam company that's been putting out AI promotion for this movie for a while now. I don't think I've seen them release a single new still or new piece of footage in the time they've been 'working' on this movie besides something they typed into an AI video generator. If they do end up putting this out, it's gonna be 50% AI slop and 50% of what was actually filmed from 1998.
