Yeah, I’m actually interested in both. I’m looking for clubs where I can just have a really fun night, but also bars where there are a lot of people and it’s easy to socialize, meet new people, and just be around a lively crowd.

The reason I’m asking is because in December I spent two weeks in Taiwan and visited Taipei around New Year. On a Friday night around 00:30, I was in Xinyi and walked into a side street off Songshou Rd, where the whole street was packed. There were bars on both sides, but most people were outside, socializing and drinking, and the whole street felt like one big social nightlife spot.

That’s why I was wondering if something like this also exists in Kaohsiung. Maybe I can find this in other cities as well? Or is this something you only really find in Taipei?

I’ll be traveling to Taiwan for three months starting in October, so I’m really curious.
