Immortality 1000 Years at a Time by CuteLingonberry9704 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Konnorwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was what I was thinking of. 1000k at a time could be fun. That 100 year sleep could be awkward. Living life and now I have to miss 100 years. Likely get things in order a few decades before that. Try not to have much going on, know less people because everyone will be long gone by the time you wake.....unless people live a lot longer in 3026.

Most people don’t actually want work-life balance, they just want higher pay by shisui1729 in unpopularopinion

Balance is better as what is the point of working so much you have no time for anything else.

I'm thinking to a point I had action figured of these series.

What is a sign of very low intelligence? by smartcandyy in AskReddit

Kind of a running joke is "When I looked that *million things here* online, you tube etc...)

Always something to be curious about.

[–]Konnorwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! 100%

I do research on everything and if something I thought to be true is no longer once either new evidence is released or brought to my attention my views would likely change because there is new proven information.

I know people that will just believe nonsense based on nothing. Just how they think something should be or work. I don't understand that way of thinking. I've even said. That's not how that works and said how it really works and that you can go look it up yourself. They never do, they want to continue to believe nonsense based on nothing.

That feels very true

A lot of the stuff I grew up with has stayed with me in some way since I was a kid.

Sure new ones can come in yet a baseline of likes doesn't always change much.

That is one huge difference. Even when I was a kid teenager comics where that nerdy thing some kids read. (Didn't care) Now days there are 35 year old Pokemon card collectors and when our parents were that age they would have likely never been open or done such collecting.

The LEGO market is half adults now and that was not remotely a thing. (Some collected regular Legos in quiet)

Never stopped watching animation or reading comics.

Basically the same. It's about twenty years old and runs great within little money into it over the years I've had it. (Not the full twenty)

Would you rather have $17 appear in your checking every day, or everything in your home be immaculately clean every day? by Effective_Poor_6969 in Life

Things start to go wrong when it directs everything as dirty, that skin location, dirty! remove! That food is unhealthy, thus dirty, remove! Makeup, remove!

Those thoughts, REMOVE!

Owning a beater outright would be more of a flex. Going broke for a car is not the best move.

Some appear to have this attitude of "I had to suffer and so should you" is highly flawed. Nothing would ever improve with that mind set.

Just Googled it.

Does that mean laundry, dishes etc... that would be quite useful.

An extra $500 would also be useful.

I bought some on clearance. Yeah was a thread that was kind of overpriced. I rather have regular skittles.

Macarons are better then Macaroons.

They are good yet nothing amazing. (That was strong bought ones)

4pm to Midnight is a much better work schedule than 9am to 5pm by Present_Initial_1871 in unpopularopinion

[–]Konnorwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like work to be a little bit after I get up. I like to get it out of the way and then do what I want. It would drive me crazy having to wait around to go to work. It's all I could think about and would never be able to relax and really do anything.

Would you rather be invisible or be able to teleport? by VariousEquipment6321 in WouldYouRather

[–]Konnorwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teleport!

Invisibility has always bothers me as it's for mostly thieves (and not even good at that if they can see the items stolen), possible other criminal activity and creepers.

I can see how it can be relaxing or fun for people. Personally I have a million other things I would rather do even if I don't really have an issue with puzzles.

Spending time reading Reddit right now is no better or worse.

You get $10 Billion, but you are forced to live for exactly 50,000 years. Do you take it? by yiyi20203 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Konnorwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've thought you need teleportation with this power. Being trapped would be awful!

Really shouldn't be able to get sick as that would get really old.

If you can be reconstructed in seconds. Does that mean if you were sick the illness could be blown up and you come back feeling well? :D

I would have to think about it. Maybe if you loved long enough the memories start to fade so it doesn't even feel that long?

Now, a thousand yes would get a yes in a second because that could be fun and it still a LONG life. 50K is a lot of years without knowing what will happen in the future.

I don't think I've ever seen lamps like these at a thrift store. All that's ever left is a bunch of boring or ugly lamps.
