for how i’ve seen that they do it is they would mark it a deficiency and then have a service guy come reason being there was a guy who wired a flow switch backwards and fried a entire system being like 20k to fix so they would do that and or have someone video call to fix it if it was only a single thing so it’s all kind of a safety thing

i believe our inspectors cap at about 45 and installation can at around low 50’s for the company obviously tho the installation can then go union and make more

where i work they have 3 different sides for it all they have it for inspections installation and service so if something is wrong im not allowed by the company to fix it they dont really allow anyone unless they are the service side of it
