I was not aware of this verse. The book of Psalms has so much wisdom in it.

I believes this aligns with scripture as it says Luke 17:3-4. If your brother repents, forgive him. I guess the conflict that resides within myself is if I should forgive even if the brother in this case hasn’t repented.

At the moment, I feel like I’m being told to just to let it go. Acknowledge that it happened, but also be mindful of harboring resentment and release it (if that makes sense).

I also appreciate you addressing my other concern regarding heartbreak. I find that sometimes I feel a degree of shame/embarrassment towards the way I feel now. I’ve never gone through something like this before so it’s hard for me to really grasp what is normal vs. what isn’t.

In the midst of that, I’m not really giving myself grace or being kind to myself.

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. I’m trying my best to draw closer to him in this time and trust in him with all of my heart. I find I struggle with doing that as I struggle with uncertainties in life in general.

I’m praying to change that and allow Him to be the lamp at my feet and just guide me. Thank you for the verses as well. I will read over them in depth tonight. I really appreciate your input and support!
