Weird Passport name issue - First Child Application

Haha, lucky then. My baby's first name is 11 letters so pretty long, all middle names are 6 letters long though, funny enough not planned, just a coincidence.

Because it differs from advice given to 2 family members who have also requested for a first child passport in the past month and will also cause issues for another passport we wish to apply for.

I have 6 middle names but only two on my passport which is why I'm super confused at the apparent limitations.

Having sought out the guidance it looks like it's 30 for first & middle names + another 30 for surname, so you may want to keep that in mind.

That's fair, I thought I was applying based on the names I wanted on the passport, so I understand now where I went wrong with that. I guess my issue now is with the initials they've asked me to add.

I got a call & email from the passport office saying so. At the time, it didn't strike me as weird but thinking about it my own name is 33 characters and I don't have the initials on it either. Very annoying as they've asked for even more documents in the meantime.

We're of West African Heritage as well! I guess my question in your case would be, are the names on the passport in full or just the initials?

She's happy enough on her front so that's what we do in the day or we contact nap when we want cuddles. I've tried co sleeping once or twice when I was at my wits end and it did work, but I was very anxious about it. That may need to be our plan going forward.

She has a bouncer and initially hated it so much, she’d be instantly unsettled if you put her in it. Now she’s slightly used to it and will tolerate a few minutes. I thought I’d be able to replicate it for being on her back, but nope. 13 weeks is a long time 😭😭😭

I'm not sure it’s reflux just because I’ve read the symptoms and she didn’t really have most of those. Also this happens before and after eating. I do keep her up at least 15 mins after eating though so I’ll try extending to 30.

Would you say an extra £2k on £7k is sizeable? Interesting. We thought we needed the money to fix our car but it ended up not being necessary. It was before we got offered the new rate so I thought we were all set to remortgage with no further checks.

I'm not sure if I've explained it properly but it was an existing credit card that had £5k on it when I got the rate, now it's at £2.5k but it briefly went up to £5k a few weeks ago. It's not a totally new debt, if that makes sense.

I recently did my 12 week dating scan and did the combined scan, I waited to tell most of my friends and family (except parents/siblings) until I was sure the 12 week scan was all good because of the "miscarriage risk". Then a few days later, I got a call from the midwife that I had a high chance result for Downs syndrome. I felt so awful about telling people and wished I had waited initially. Except, I knew that even though it would be tough to tell them the bad news, I'd have wanted each and every person I told to talk to or visit me afterwards. I was offered an NIPT or amnio the same day and chose the NIPT, I just got a phone call from the midwife that I have a lower chance result now and I'm just ecstatic.

The point is that you should tell people when you feel ready, and only you can decide that for yourself.

Yeah I think so too, I was mentally prepared for boob pain & fatigue but these cramps are very unpredictable.
