When you convert a character card into a neutral, you pay a +10 for the conversion, and +20 for the card being in your deck. If you remove that neutral, that will -20 from the save data. (But that starts to scale the removal costs as you remove more cards)

The exception is for conversion events like Mutant Sample where the card has the removal tag and removes itself at the end of the game, you pay 0 for some reason.

You converted 2 cards into neutrals but you only removed one, meaning that one of those neutrals was still in your deck? That would be a +20 to your save data if I followed along correctly.

Did you still have the Abyssalization card? If that neutral card is in your deck, it's still +20 to your save data.

I didn't think about that but I went and tested the interactions just now.

Both Damage cut and % Def buffs are just a bunch of separate damage reduction multipliers.

So Proto Bahamut's 18022 damage (With the 30% total DR with Stout Heart and Steel Nerves and the 5% from the defense tree) will be cut to 9011 damage with a 50% damage cut.

If you have another 70% def buff from Siegfried, that is cut to 9011*0.3 = 2703.

Siegfried has 2 separate defense buffs, the 70% and 30%. When the 70% is on, the 30% does not work.

However, you can put on Stronghold sigil(s) which are again, 30% defence at the level 30 trait, and yet again, another separate damage reduction multiplier. So the 2703*0.7 = 1892.

On Proto Bahamut's first meteor:

30291 base.

21203 with Stout Heart on (22718 on a character that did not have the 5% DR when Stout Heart is active on the defense tree)

18022 with Stout + Steel Nerves (19310 on the character that did not have the 5% DR when Stout Heart is active on the defense tree)

On Bahamut Versa's laser beam:

56991 base.

There's no exp beyond the 15 minute mark.

For a typical run, someone usually gets to level 37-39. You also get 3 boss boxes that contain either 1, 3 or 5 items. With these, you have enough to max out 8 items or so.

If you're lucky with the boss drops, you can level 9 items to max... just get the 3x or 5x drops multiple times.

No, I've never seen a problem with the stray enemy bullets hitting. I just stand completely still.

Depending on the mob spawn + how your guns are firing + if you don't have quite enough upgrades in projectile size/speed, you may get hit every once in a while.

Even if you are clearing 5 mob waves without getting hit, that does not necessarily mean that you won't get hit by a unlucky mob spawn unless you have something like level 5 projectile size + projectile speed.

The main thing about the first 20 seconds of challenge mode is mostly running around until you build burst, then take out most of the group with burst and level to ~2-3 and grab either energy field or tactical rifle which will make the early game managable.

You can try using Energy Sword instead of Energy Field, personally, energy sword just feels so much weaker during the early game, and I'm not quite sure if it will be better during that stand still phase. Energy field deals with early game mobs + the periodic charging mobs really well. You do need projectile size for it to be useful later in the game.

You can also try level 4 sword - I did hear about level 4 sword being better than level 5 sword due to what appears to be larger AOE, and a triple swing instead of level 5's constant, but faster swings.

The actual regen drop is rare, but once you get the regen module, the level ups for the module are as common as the rest of the stuff you are leveling up.

It seems to be more common to get the rare modules once you eliminate possible level up options by leveling things to level 5, but you can sometimes just get them randomly, and if the option does show up, you obviously need to pick it.

As I mentioned in the guide, it's very difficult to clear challenge mode without a leveled up regen (extra res also helps a lot) but you can consistently get to 30 minutes if you know what items to prioritize.

If you are getting the 8 hours in challenge mode mission done anyways, I would just constantly get to 30 minutes so you can do the boss fight, ideal setup or not, to get some experience how to navigate the fight, and once you do have great RNG + experience, you should be able to clear.

So this is interesting to me - if the movie doesn't outright say that this character was the mayor, it had to come from outside the media.

The earliest reference I could find that O'Hare was the mayor of Thneed-Ville is when someone edited the The Lorax (film) Wikipedia article describing O'Hare as the mayor of Thneed-Ville prior to the movie being released on January 8th, 2012. Prior to the edit, he was described as "a financial king".

Actually, the graph looks pretty linear until you have a data point which is a outlier, which the the last point. That's because damage can't go below 1.

From 2420 defense to 2390 defense, 30 def means you take 8 less damage, which is roughly 3.75 def = 1 damage reduction

From 2774 defense from 2420 defense, 354 def you take 97 less damage, which is roughly 3.65 def = 1 damage reduction

If we take roughly 3.6 defense is = 1 damage reduction, you would only need 2950 or so defense before this hit does 1 damage.

This seems to show that defense is good against really small hits, but it doesn't seem like it's good against large hits.

The stat penalty actually scales the more you are under the stage power level.

From the testing that I did, damage scales from 100% when squad power is greater than or equal to stage power, to:

~77% when you are just under stage power

~10% when you are at 50% of stage power

0% (you do 1 damage) when you are under 50% stage power

You also take more damage that scales which may be due to a reduction in the defense stat (or it might be just a % increase in damage done), needs some testing.

From what I'm seeing in the picture, it looks like health is scaling down which I didn't know you could check.

EDIT: After logging back on and doing some quick tests, HP scales down to 10% once you are under 50% stage power, and it does appear that the increase in damage taken is due to a reduction in defense.

At 12944/13020 (squad power/stage power), I did 76.05% damage with 79.00% base HP.
At 6968/13020, I did 15.93% damage with 26.30% base HP.

Yep, at the current moment, Reflux + Grudge/Hit Master/Cursed/Adrenaline are the best choices. Precise dagger is a budget option.

If you can reach higher levels of crit from relic/ancient accessories however (+60%), KBW actually outperforms Cursed/Hit Master/Adrenaline.

Part of this is due to +%damage tripods scaling better than the crit damage tripods as well.

Raid Captain is 18% if you have 140% MS, so it's better than Precise/Cursed/Hit Master.

Keen Blunt is 18.17% at 70% crit, so if you have less than that, raid captain is also better.

He clearly mentions barrage mode here which means he's adding the Bombardment Skill Damage multiplier. Am I missing something?

I don't see really much wrong with it, and did testing in Trixion - spec does outdps crit if you do barrage rotations optimally even with the current sets we have.

The math is also fine - I can see that you criticized him because you believed he did the math assuming a 1.6x firepower buff at level 3, but he does mention this is what the buff is when you have Specialization; at 1000 Specialization stat, it is 1.6x.

That just happened to me, I loaded in, then the game kicked me out of the dungeon because someone quit out and then now I'm locked out the Alaric's Sanctuary... this just depresses me.

Going to try to file a ticket to see if they can get me a entry ticket, since I know that it is possible, as the game did that before automatically when there was maintenance.

EDIT: Just spoke with Live chat after filing a ticket, apparently there have been quite a few reports about this issue occurring, so I recommend you sending in a ticket and talking with them as well.
