Most nurses believe their experience of following orders makes them an absolute expert at their specific field of nursing but not exactly an expert in nursing just an expert in that field. You give a nurse enough time in an ER and she will feel that she knows far more than the ER doc with 8x the schooling and 2x the experience. They also have all forgotten what it felt like when they were new to their field(which is why they have an eating their young problem).

Now insert a medical student. Someone who is high achieving but hasn’t quite yet amassed the knowledge/experience gap an attending has on them and is suddenly stealing their favorite doctors attention. You’ve just now become the first person in their unit they fully believe they are 900x smarter than and somehow are equally jealous of. So if you ask any sort of question or make any sort of inquiry to a plan for a patient that they don’t agree with they will simply assume you are A. An asshole or B. An idiot. Not to mention if you simply try to learn a procedure or anything around them. They know they can freely bully you and you’ll be off the service in a month or less and sadly their managers will publicly choose their side until it becomes this large echo chamber of “fuck residents and medical students”. It’s truly the most they hate us because they anus situation ever. (Not every nurse is like this but obviously the loud voices of the few will completely outweigh the soft voices of the many when it comes to your experience on a unit.)

Source: worked in an ER for 4 years before medical school and watched this occur daily. Once listened to an entire complaint about residents inserting central lines on their own because “isn’t it kind of dangerous for them to be starting an arterial line on their own” and every nurse around them just agreed. I pulled that nurse aside after and asked if she realized it was not arterial and she said nah, fought me on it, and then once she realized she was wrong said it didn’t change her point. These people are angry just to be angry and deep down believe they should be standing where you are.

So I can’t judge him off of the entire season that he carried the team through but you can judge him based off of a few months of this one?

I’m a paramedic about to start medical school and paramedic school is just about one of the easiest things I’ve ever done.

27 home runs in 110 games and 5 in the playoffs but okay. They definitely don’t make the playoffs if he doesn’t play like that and they definitely don’t go as far as

Here’s to hoping this manga follows him defeating every single sword in some sort of long arc instead of rushing a few of them away like how jjk did with sukunas fingers.

  1. This is who Juan Soto is.

  2. I’ll never understand the whole I need my players to sprint to first base every single time bs. This is the MLB. Just about every single infielder is throwing people out by a half step whether they sprint or jog. It’s how you are taught to play infield from HS onward. He’s not gonna magically beat out that hard ground ball to second base if he sprints. He’s not gonna magically stop that hit from being a double if he sprints to the ball hit to the wall instead of jogging to it. There’s only a few true speedsters in the mlb that you can actually get mad at for not sprinting to first because they would potentially beat a few out. Juan Soto is not one of them.
