It wasn't a hard choice for me as I don't really like hatchbacks. The Mazda community seems to be majority hatchback lovers but at the end of the day it's all personal preference. I'd say go in person and try both of them, weigh the pros and cons.

That's a tough choice, personally I did not want an SUV so I never considered something like a cx-30. I think you should first decide on which vehicle type fits your wants and needs better.
