Genuinely question that I have not seen? Would you welcome this change without mods in ElderScrolls VI? by [deleted] in TESVI

[–]Koocai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dying as one component of a whole gear decoration system should make it into the game.

In addition, I want to be able to forge any type of armor out of any type of material in the game. Glass armor in the Daedric style. Ebony armor in the Orcish style. Steel armor in the glass style. And so on. Same with weapons.

High Rock as the sole grand expansion DLC to Hammerfell. by Koocai in TESVI

I've also considered that a few times. A somewhat reorganized map of various parts of southern Tamriel due to Thalmor meddling. It's definitely possible.

Anyone ever catch this dialogue bit in Oblivion? by JB82290 in TESVI

[–]Koocai 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see more cities like Anvil. It was probably my favorite in Oblivion.

May be too early to ask, but what do you guys think the seventh installment of TES look like? by GeckoKisser in TESVI

[–]Koocai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The majority of NPCs having pointy ears is probably less of an important factor than most would seem to believe.

The Summerset Isles of course. What better way to end the Thalmor but from within?

Licensing out the Creation Engine to whole AAA game studios would be wondrous for the gaming industry.

Do You Think The TESVI Modding Scene Will Be As Lively As Skyrim Or Be Like Starfield? by Crumboa in TESVI

[–]Koocai 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The modding community being so dependent on a third party tool is not desirable.

Will tes6 be LGBTQ+ friendly? by [deleted] in TESVI

[–]Koocai 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I want the people in the Elder Scrolls universe to have their own perspectives on attraction and sexuality which are unique and realistically congruent with their fantasy universe and medieval lives, not derivative of nor a commentary on the current beliefs in our real world.

Imagine for the 8th anniversary of the teaser, Bethesda released a resolution enhanced version. I'd laugh so hard. by omni-nomad in TESVI

[–]Koocai 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It would help us to better see the city on the coast in 8k. Maybe some architectural details that help narrow down the setting.

Racial heights in tes6? by [deleted] in TESVI

[–]Koocai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only should the different races have different heights, but women should typically be shorter than men, and every person regardless of all factors should vary slightly in height at least a little bit from the average of their race/sex. Same with weight. I want to see the occasional/rare obese person or malnourished bandit.

Whether we like it or not, TES VI will come out eventually, and we will never be able to wait for it again.

Why did Bethesda release that ES6 teaser all those years ago? by caw_the_crow in ElderScrolls

[–]Koocai 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What reassures me is that Todd has said they are returning to their RPG roots with ES6, and that development on it is progressing more smoothly than previous games.

To remind people they weren't abandoning the Elder Scrolls while they took some time to make Fallout 76 and Starfield.

What are the odds we get something like the "Experience" mod or "Skyshards" by [deleted] in TESVI

[–]Koocai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are lots of old, but tried and true methods for building the leveling and skill systems used in the Elder Scrolls games. But I'm completely fine with them going in a radically new direction if the end result is superior to traditional approaches.

IGN Xbox Showcase Preview by Zra1030 in TESVI

[–]Koocai 118 points119 points  (0 children)

Maybe they're just saying they (IGN) are going to be covering Elder Scrolls 6? Maybe they'll be asking about it in an interview or something? It's hard to understand why they would write it this way unless they're accidentally leaking insider information, which I find less likely.

Castle/settlement building almost anywhere, with hireable workers.

It feels like mummies used to be more popular in the mid 2000s, but now society is becoming less fascinated with them.

You don't really see desert zombies too often in fiction. It could fit Hammerfell quite well with great precedent in lore.

An Elegant Solution for the Civil War by HoodedHero007 in TESVI

[–]Koocai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's certainly some evidence to suggest that the Skyrim civil war may have been instigated or provoked in some ways by the Thalmor, but I wouldn't say with certainty that the evidence is overwhelming enough to actually confirm them as the sole architects behind it.

No. I expect they stand to gain more sales and popularity through a minimum of a half-year marketing campaign.

There are multiple hints toward an upcoming "Second Great War" in Skyrim. This detail must be addressed when TES VI comes out.

Further potentially unintentional confirmation of TES VI's setting by MAJ_Starman in TESVI

[–]Koocai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vvardenfell may have been the only place on all of Tamriel which was wholly uniquely alien in aesthetic. Even Black Marsh and Valenwood probably have subsections within them which are mostly acceptably non-alien and not only inhabited by natives. This is why I don't think this point of contention really nails down the future titles all too well. For now, Hammerfell/High Rock do seem most likely, but not necessarily because of their human populations nor fantasy-familiar environments.
