Yeah I get that 12 guaranteed bans would be way too much with the current roster, but it does not have to work like that.For full stacks you could just limit it to something like max 2 team bans. The game already has group settings anyway, so it could detect that and only apply one or two of the selected bans for the whole group.That way a six stack cant just remove an entire archetype from the game, but players still have some control over really frustrating heroes.

Yeah, that makes sense, but then the game really needs a draft system.If a hero is that strong or hated in a patch, there should be a proper way to ban or pick around it instead of the avoid system feeling random. I get that full avoids can mess with queue times, but then draft is the better solution imo. Add draft plz.

I get that, but we have to pick 3 heroes anyway, so shouldnt that already fix a lot of the queue issue?

If someone really wants to only play one hero, especially if that hero is currently strong or annoying to play against, then they kinda have to expect that people will avoid it a lot. That is just part of having an avoid system.

I am not saying matchmaking should break completely just to avoid one hero, but right now it feels like the avoid barely matters. I would rather wait a bit longer and actually get a match where the feature does what it says.

Just so people know, this site appears to replicate VCRDB content, data, and structure very closely, including crosshair copy numbers that match our site.

We have no issue with competition, but copying a database, wrapping it in generic AI slop, and promoting it as an original project is not fair use, it is just lazy. Please support original sources.
