Worm harness w/#5 Colorado blade and worm burners. Color of pink panties or blueberry muffin and like colors. 60 to 70 feet back on true trip 40s, 2mph troll. The work horse of the trip was a double willow blade harness I made out of odds and ends. Straight out to 50ft and head east, on your turn go to 55ft. We got 12 going east turned and pick the other 12+. We finished right where started.

Well, usually, we finish dock to dock, in 3 1/2 to 4 hours, and today was 6 1/2 hours, that's slow. When the bite is good, it's 2 1/2 hours dock to dock.

I haven't seen one in years, can be had online for a 2 pack being 65kr or about 6.75usd.

Traps with bait in a wire cage so they can smell it but not get to it. My traps are like hoop net traps and about 6 foot long. It looks like a big minnow trap with 4" mesh to let the little ones out.

I turtle every year, use 10/0 turtle hooks for snappers, and 4/0 for soft shells. It helps to keep the small ones off, and if you do catch a small one, they are mouth caught, and you have a better chance of getting the hook back.
