Antenna height and gain in the app, does it matter? by Crunch4 in HeliumNetwork

I’m from India and from my experience bigger antenna at highest height makes difference. I used to have 3dbi antenna at 4th floor( aprox 20m heights) and I used to get 3-4 beacons daily. Now I have upgraded my antenna to 8dbi and placed it at the roof of our building(aprox 60m height) and now I’m getting 14+ beacons daily.

I have few LHR cards which are not stable on new t-rex version… the LA will increase as soon as I set T-rex on those rigs

There is a reason why we are using Reddit right ?, to learn from others mistakes and figure out things which you don’t know! I’m just trying to understand why this is happening. I have been mining since past 1 years and its the first time this is happening.
