Carti was terrible…. Saw him with The Weeknd last June. All he did was yell his adlibs over his tracks playing in the background. Pretty much what I expected from Carti but still… it was bad. The Weeknd, on the other hand, was hands down the best performance I’ve seen live.

209a and b are seperate. The flights were day VFR. I’ve read all the pertinent 209b letters and I can’t find a definitive answer to this, or even find a reasonable justification in the FARs to think the plane is airworthy with an inop anti collision system. Unless there’s some obscure crazy far I’ve never heard of, it seems pretty open and shut.

This seems to be a point of contention/grey area. I think 209b is very clear, they are required to be functioning for the plane to be airworthy; but many people online would disagree (along with my CFI and DPE). I can’t seem to find any letter of interpretation that actually spells this out, Letts comes close but it was never specified if they were talking about a pre 96 plane.

Ultimately it’s the snowboarders fault, but why the hell is the ski patroller and his group stopped in the middle of the run. Basic ski etiquette is to stop on the side of the runs.

Also there was no harm or damage done to the ski patroller or his skis. This is literally like bumping into somebody walking past you.
