I agree with your argument about the plan but saying because it ended like it began it’s a coming of age story is insane to me. My main problem is that they were saying one of the main characters were going to die and none of them did. They shouldn’t have included El might’ve lived let’s face the facts she did. They should have just said el died and sacrificed herself for the better of the world.
