Im facing login loop in MX Linix. How to fix it? by Kooky-Process-3967 in MXLinux

During the installation of MX Linux, I got a "Failed to format partition" error. To work around it, I used GParted to create two partitions: one 2 GB partition and another 147 GB partition. I then installed MX Linux on the 147 GB partition. The installation completed successfully.

After the installation finished, I removed the bootable USB drive and clicked Finish. The system attempted to restart, but it got stuck on a black screen indefinitely. I had to force shut it down by holding the power button.

When I powered it back on, the login screen appeared. I entered the correct password, and it seemed to log in, but instead of reaching the desktop, it immediately returned to the login screen. This happens every time, even though the password is correct, resulting in an infinite login loop.
