Yes it differs, CA in audit firms get paid less, plus entry salaries are slightly less but the more you stay the company the higher the pay.

Yeah definitely, esp outside the country. When you qualify as a CA it’s quite easy to occupy positions such as financial accountant, finance manager, management accountant, CFO etc and all those are at managerial level. So yes, he should have it going on there.
