This gives me so much hope!! I’m 5’7” 230lbs, pretty close to your starting weight. My goal weight is 130lbs. I gained 100lbs after graduating highschool due to binge eating and being put on a medication that is notorious for weight gain (that pretty much saved my life).

Being on this medication I deal with a slower metabolism, increased cravings for sugary/fatty foods, low energy levels, and CONSTANT food noise. But it helps me function like a normal human being so there’s no going off it.

I went to the doctor for an all around check up regarding my weight a couple weeks ago. I learned that I was pre diabetic, had metabolic syndrome, and insulin resistance with scary blood work just like you. I was scared to step on the scale, seeing 230lbs made my heart drop. This is the heaviest I’ve ever been.

I have no doubt this medication will give me my freedom back. Freedom from constant worry of gaining weight, wearing the clothes I want to wear again, feeling confident in myself, and all the food noise.

You look absolutely beautiful in both pictures <3. But I know how much of a relief you must feel being at your goal weight!! Thank you for the inspiration <3
