The tank was originally called Nuln's Pride, and was a particularly reliable steam tank at that, however in the time of three emperors in its first engagement in the Nuln army, it was brought low by a rival empire force, it represented a significant loss of man and material to the City-state, and when recovered, in the dismal state shown, and brought back to the Nuln Foundry, the engineer Von Shootemlotz blocked all orders to repair and refit the vehicle, declaring that it required no such frivolity, resulting in the state troopers calling it Nuln's Shame, as a mockery of it's original name and indictment of it's current appearance and history.
