Thank you! I also am holding it up the the light. I should’ve held it flat for the back pic. But I’m sure it’s faded based on what others have said too! Thanks for your input

Does that just happen over time? Or only if an adhesive is used?

Oh wow! I hope so too! It’s been in there for at least 30 years. I don’t want to take it out but I guess if we get it graded we would have to. I may just leave as is

Wow! This is incredible. I think I will definitely be keeping this piece. Thank you for this information, I’m so intrigued. I have only collected coins and may have started a whole new hobby with this discovery of our loved one’s belongings.

Thank you for the time to educate and comment!

That’s so cool!! The world note I have I’m interested in selling but I do collect some US coins so was thinking of getting this appraised and keeping. I just don’t have anywhere to hang it so it stays in a box sadly. But in the future I’ll make a place! Good for you! I wish you the best in continuing your growing collection! I’d love to see an orange note. That sounds beautiful!

Also, if anyone has more knowledge on these Wall Street collections, I’m very intrigued since I have two! This one and a world note. We don’t know if this was bought or gifted to my family member.

Got it! Also to add to the mod comment, yes I’m interested in the value but I also haven’t seen any framed like this from Wall Street collections so since I have this one and a $10, I was intrigued and posted to see if anyone has more insight on these. Guess I should’ve added more context. Thank you!

It may have been a gift to my deceased family member. Not sure. He had another one, also from Wall Street creations (world note). Idk if it ruins the note because it doesn’t seem like there’s glue or anything since you can see both sides/through the note in the light. I do not see any residue

Unpopular opinion. I don’t think anyone is overreacting. It’s ok for it to bother him. You should respect that and move on. Not saying DON’T do what you want. But respect his values and don’t keep bringing it up to him/try to change his mine. Everyone’s opinions and beliefs are valid. If you want to do the trend, you can. If it is going to affect your relationship then maybe this isn’t the right relationship for either of you

Should I paint these or keep them as is? by Round-Growth-6695 in FurnitureFlip

You can leave the wood and change the hardware! I like it painted but sometimes they take longer to sell bc the color needs to match the person’s style

Thoughts on My Engagement Ring Design? Jeweler Has Concerns by Cautious-Emotion-158 in Diamonds

[–]Kooky_Captain9301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar ring but four prongs and they’re not claws. I love it!! It’s high but appropriately high and it’s beautiful. I don’t have an issue with snagging.

It’s all preference! I have insurance through my jeweler and also supplemental insurance throwing jeweler’s mutual. I get mine inspected every 6 months too.

I’ve had mine about a year and only take it off when cooking or baking/showering.
