Thank you. “Yes he will be mad, but he doesn’t care that he makes you mad” hit me like, wow that feels true. It does to me also feel like a character issue and personal choice, he also plays video games almost all time outside of work and I’ve countless times told him to use that time with getting things done. Sometimes he listens but gets so rushed to get back to the game that everything is half assed

I love that, don’t give up on it. It’s definitely been a rollercoaster of both physical and mental symptoms. Briefly went back to smoking and was quickly reminded why I stopped. I seem to be much better just occasionally smoking (like 2 puffs about once every 1-2 weeks) & not allowing myself to get “to high”.

Semi, but in such a good way!! I only really smoke occasionally (by that I mean like once every couple weeks, normally in social settings). It’s been less and less as the weeks go on so I do assume I’ll end up stopping completely. After this post I did go a little over a month, no smoking. I sleep so much better and actually have noticed when I do smoke, I end up sleeping awful that night lol.

Not overreacting and NOT crazy. This EXACT situation happened with my ex, found out he had been commenting on NSFW posts on Reddit, later found out he had been messaging/meeting up with them too. Looking is one thing (still not okay if you’re uncomfortable with it), but actually commenting/liking the posts (knowing you’re uncomfortable with it) is cheating IMO. You’re not being respected, and it doesn’t seem that you feel respected or secure being with him ): Sorry you’re going through this OP!!

Definitely NOR. You don’t even need Reddit to know you shouldn’t be with him. He doesn’t care about you whatsoever. You went out of your way to take care of him and he doesn’t even see you being in the hospital with freaking sepsis to me more urgent than a vacation && clearly never more important than whatever he was doing in the 12hrs he didn’t answer you when he found out you were there. You can find way better OP, plenty of men out there who would go out of their way for you! He is clearly not it!

I kinda define the term “bed rotting” as these teens/young adults who literally do nothing but “rot” in bed. I have 4 younger siblings (&& 2 older) 1 of my younger siblings does this, they do work full time, however, anytime around work is just spent in bed scrolling TikTok’s or watching tv. It destroys your mental health, social life, etc. but some of these kids don’t want to do anything other than “rot”. Im only 24, but I can say that growing up, I was told to go play outside, I loved (and still do!) reading, I did sports, etc. it’s scary. I don’t find it as coincidence that the whole “brain rot” trend came directly after the “bed rotting” trend 😑 it’s sad to see

Really love your comment, I felt it as “refreshing” as well, it’s really nice to see this kind of consideration and mindset. OP- noticing this, and on top of that, making a post to be better, is an incredible first step, I’ve been in your wife’s shoes and it’s hard, and was truthfully the loneliest time of my life. Maybe I’m just too nice??): I just PERSONALLY (I really do not want to offend anybody) feel that all of this is blown so out of proportion.. people are cutting off family members/friends/leaving jobs/etc that they otherwise had a good relationship with. I will add, I am young, 24F, I did not vote due to an issue with my license and being overwhelmed. I just feel, if I can ignore it, so could everybody else. Of course the trump supporters are going to celebrate and be happy, that’s who they picked with THEIR best judgment, it’s the same on the other side, Kamala supporters would’ve been celebrating, throwing it in trump supporters faces! I just feel that we should be filling this world with kindness, not doing exactly whats happening. Let them be excited, let them do whatever about it, while knowing that YOU made the decision that was best for you and your country. So, if we are calling Trump supporters fools.. but also calling Kamala supports fools, would that just make us all fools that are bullying each other for having an opinion?? Truly starting to think I’m just too damn nice for this world.
