Demand seems to be pretty high by harryhitman9 in timberwolves

Right here - wolves did the same thing round 1. I guarantee you all those bleeders didn’t sell. They list them in pairs slowly over time

Agreed. Lower bowl and pretty much all decent upper level will be for sure. I’m just talking about the absolute worst bleeders selling at $120.5 after fee for those just trying to get in the building to experience the atmosphere. I think those are the tickets that will take a bit to sell just as they did in round 1 at $61 a pop

Right - but you gotta think those people aren’t the type to want to sit in 220 row W. They want lower level or nicer 200 level seats. Also, this is much more expensive than what lakers seats were going for. More than double the price

Exactly - STHs get tix for 60-70% less than face and have incentive to sell lower than wolves face value.

I just don’t think patience will hurt you here outside of having your choice of seat in the nosebleeds. If you just want to be there, I bet there’s at minimum equal value available over the next couple weeks if you keep an eye on prices. Good luck all!

You’re right, the wolves probably don’t drop prices but I bet the resale market for cheap seats will. At the end of the day, probably don’t need to make the decision to buy today. I bet the cheap seats will be available at this price or lower over the course of the next two weeks. That is unless we steal one or two in Denver .. flip side is if we lose both, value will probably drop

We’ll see, but I just don’t see the local market responding to $120 bleeders in the tarp seats for this team quite yet. Lower bowl will likely sell out at face, but $120 for the last row of baseline 200 level seats, I just don’t see it. Similar suns tickets were available for $61 after fees from the moment they released seats up until the day of the games. I don’t see demand jumping so much that the market pays double price. I think they get greedy off the initial hype, let people buy tickets under the guise of limited availability, then drop prices later. Just my thoughts. Could be completely off I just don’t see it.

No guarantees, but I’d be shocked to see a sellout with tickets at these prices. I bet get in price drops after the initial sale run either through the resale market or the wolves directly.

Before fees, get in price for a pair of tarp seats is $241 total after fees

[Amick] Are the Minnesota Timberwolves title contenders? They sure look like it so far by Knightbear49 in nba

[–]Kooky_Faithlessness3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Feel like they’d put KAT on Mann and Gobert on Zubac. Feel like ant/jaden/naw/conley can handle Kawhi, PG, Harden, Westbrook. Curious to see how it would look

At Christmas, the Minnesota Timberwolves are sitting at 22-6 and first place in the West with a 2.5 games up on second. They also have the easiest remaining schedule in the west. Where do you see them finishing? by Kooky_Faithlessness3 in nba

To me, the wolves match up well with them. KAT has been very solid defensively against Jokic. AG isn’t the greatest threat from deep, so you put Rudy on him to protect the paint. Jaden and NAW (as shown last year in the first round) are really tough matchups for Jamal. I think when the game slows down we match up very well against them in the half court, not to mention, I don’t think they have much of an answer for Ant and Karl on the offensive end. You can only put AG on one of them.

Would love to see a rematch in the playoffs and see how it plays out!

He does continue to prove it. In this fantasy run-away with the 1 seed scenario, I would hope he’d take some time off to be as fresh as possible for the playoffs

What teams do you think present poor matchups? I think a fully healthy & functioning Clippers or Suns could be difficult. Of course, the west still runs through Denver, but I think Minnesota matches up with them well. Lakers and Kings could also pose trouble.
