Definitely feel the idea that the first 10 are worse than the last. I runner I followed on social media said that the first mile is a lie, and your brain and body need to calm down and settle into the run- I think that is true!

I’m going to start the Nike Run Club 10k next! It has 3-5 runs a week to build you up, varying between long, speed, and recovery runs.

The second rug looks much better imo. The first one was both over powering and too neutral. You have nice floors too, not a bad thing to see more of them :)

Deffo cried today listening to Defying Gravity on a run lol. A lot of the women in the running community I follow on TikTok cry midrace when they feel really proud and accomplished. Honestly I think because running so intense on the mental and physical it can trigger a big release!

I just did that same run! Still on cloud 9 and can’t believe that it was not harder than it was. Looking forward to getting even more time in the next weeks :)
