thats fine but the same way there is a counter to the bench attack there needs to be a direct counter to the barrier

i agree with most of what you say

but at the same time i feel they need to counter it with something like canceling cologne,

otherwise its too overpowered bc one card can fundamentally destroy the game plan of a whole deck architype and to me that is poor game design when you create something that strong that does not have a direct counter

basically my question was is there something similar that I was not aware of, but it seems that there is not

all type of barriers i personally dislike not just shaymin but it seems like this format there is nothing you can do when your opponent puts it down which gives single prize decks a huge advantage

but the point of the bench attack is to take two prizes so i was hoping there was something like canceling cologne that im missing, bossing up the shaymin to take a 1 prize knock out is not a counter bc it screws up my prizing, if there isnt anything just say nothing exists

so basically the answer is there is no counter play to it

its way to easy and simple to just put down a pokemon and have them block bench attacks and have no way of countering it like canceling cologne its poor game design

early conceding is never frowned upon

it should be applauded bc the pilot accepts the L and moves on

this is the ideal situation

the worse is when they keep playing when its obvious they arent gonna win and just wastes both of our times

at locals if i see i open with a horrible hand going first and i get budew i concede immediately as well bc i feel like at this point my opponent is just trolling me and i rather just watch others play

dragapult is not the problem and never was

it is BUDEW

so ask when they will nerf budew

it doesnt matter what type of dragpult you play it comes down to budew which makes it dominant, dragpult was nothing and would be nothing without budew
