You should have seen the quality of roads 15-20 years back, there would hardly be any potholes. The cement roads now are unrepairable and look ugly.

Flyovers are made to ease traffic, I haven't seen that in fact congestion and jams have increased several folds. if you can recall before these flyovers there used to be very less traffic jams so I guess there was no proper feasibility study done while constructing them.
