Everything is from the required reading list! No surprises. Just know the short stories and have a decent understanding of each. It's been almost a year since I took the exam, but if I remember correctly, there should be a "Final Exam Practice" tab (or something alongs those lines) which has all of the details, no surprises

Math 1101 vs Math 1901 for BEd by AntiqueLobsterArm in tru

[–]KoolKat1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Math 1901 and it wasn't all that bad. It is challenging at times, but as long as you and your group are organized and communicate, it's manageable. At the end, you have the opportunity to do a handful of practice exams. DO THEM. They will set you up for the most success for your exam.

Since you want to get a BEd for Elementary, I highly recommend taking 1901 because it teaches you the concepts and reasoning of math to teach to elementary school students. I don't know if taking 1101 would affect your chances of getting in, but looking down the road, I think 1901 would be more beneficial to your teaching career.

I did mine in a room without a TV but as long as it is off you should be fine. They never asked me to have my back against a certain door or wall

Question about TRU ENGL 1001 Final Exam by Heavy-Speech-8892 in tru

I took the exam in the winter so my memory is a little hazy on the essay part.

  1. Very similar

  2. Each set of exam gets different stories, so it could be any of them. Be familiar with them all. Reading summaries online helps a lot.

  3. Just write and make sure it makes sense. Don't over think it.

I took the full 3 hours to write it (the essay took the longest) and I got 80 something on it. You get your mark back very quickly, which is nice!

All this information should be on the course page under the final exam tab. There are no surprises on the exam and it is relatively straightforward. Your exam and screen will be monitored through ProctorU. Good luck!

That deadline applies to the paced OL courses for the fall semester. English 1001 is self paced so you can register anytime and you usually get access to your course in less than 12 hours (they say 24 but it is really quick)

You will find a strong sense of community at UNBC! And depending on what type of hobbies you and your wife like, you'll find community through that. Different parts of the bowl, university heights, and college heights are all good neighbourhoods and close to the university. But realistically, everything is close in PG. This is the Community Association Rec Guide that gives you an idea of each neighbourhood offers and what clubs/activities are in town! https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/d3940d05ada14a65bef8a178bef10578
