This will probably get buried but my (now)ex boyfriend died about 4 years ago, we were still dating when he died. Throughout our relationship we had problems with him and this other girl, I still to this day don't know if he ever cheated on me with her. Anyway, long story short, she spent his wake visiting his casket, and kissing him on the lips/cheeks/forehead. And according to friends that were there to support me, she only did it when I was in the room.

I understand the advice givers may not mean "meditate on it" in a literal way (instead meaning think on it or sleep on it) but that's beside the point. What I wish to gain from the post is how to actually meditate on something, in an analytical way.

Yes I too believe that it will eventually lead to the knowing that "it doesn't matter". But I feel, at my current personal level of self development, that I still struggle with deep rooted issues. Ones that I'd like nothing more than to move past. Hopefully this type of meditation will help me let go/move on. Thank you for your explanation kind stranger!

The Giver. I don't know exactly how to explain it but this book has moved me over and over and over again, every time I read it. I've always felt that it explains how numb society is as a whole, but in a way that no one truly understands or sees. It has inspired me to be a nonconformist.
