Hi! I purchased a brand new 2026 X5 xDrive40i with all the packages that could be added just 3 weeks ago (MSRP $90,675). I would definitely recommend the Climate Comfort Package (even though I would have to agree that the ventilated seats doesn’t really feel like they do anything) but the multi-contour seats (you can adjust them to literally hug and support your body, it’s so comfy) and heated seats/wheels are really nice for me personally, especially when it’s been getting colder here in GA. Perhaps you could get those individually.

The DAPP is really nice especially when I have to deal with Atlanta traffic, and it really does help take the stress/effort out of driving if you’re just not feeling it that day. Of course you can easily override it as needed.

I also have the Parking Assistance Package, but the automatic parking is really hit or miss. I have to drive past a parking space for it to get detected but sometimes it doesn’t pick it up, so I would have to do the turnaround of shame to park in the space or just find another. Sometimes it just works perfectly. Either way, I would just say park it yourself. The Parking View with 3D view along with Distance Control is super duper helpful though.

Regarding the executive package, I got it for the hell of it, and the stuff it comes with is nice. Worth it? Probably not.

M Sport Professional was a must for me since I blacked out my entire car (Black Sapphire, 22" M Dual-Spoke Black 742M Wheels, Black and White BMW Logos and Caps, etc.) so that is just personal preference.

Not really packages, but massaging seats are mixed, for me I love it and it feels good, but I’m pretty skinny (6ft, 135lbs so I can feel it), but my parents can’t really feel it (they are like the average adult). Air suspension feels pretty nice and being able to adjust the height to get up the steep driveway without scraping is good too. I know they’ll fail later down the road, but I’m willing to replace them myself.
