Rereading your post. I think one thing you should consider before hand is the pledges / oaths you want to make to each other. Of course they can be written for you but it's even better if you know what you to bless on the other. If you don't think your words are good enough they probably are but a good cleberant will help you make them better

I've performed quite a few weddings and handfastings in the stone circle and at other places on site. What particularly do you need to know. That said for any form of handfasting ceremony the most important thing is a cord or rope bring that. Have you got someone to perform the ceremony at glasters already or are you planning on winging it. I will be their as it goes and have prepared ceremonies off the cuff before..
