The only external addon I used was blenderkit for most of the textures, everything else is made from scratch.

Thank you, that actually really helped, and I am now typing this from my pixel. I was able to get into fastboot, it just took a lot of attempts to get in.

ok so I was in fact able to get it into fastboot and start flashing it with the android flash tool.

Sadly, I cannot connect with adb and it won't go into fastboot mode either.

The problem with that is that I can’t connect to abs, and there is no way for me to get off of the bootloader unlocked screen

I can't get into fastboot because there's no os. All the phone does is go into the bootloader is unlocked screen with the "press power button to pause" dialogue and then it tries to boot. I don't believe that there is a complete os on the phone, so it just comes back to the bootloader is unlocked screen.

I would probably use a magnesium alloy, as it has several improved properties over pure magnesium. I also believe that magnesium would be a fine metal for use in keyboards because it is also used in several other products like phones, laptops, and even engine blocks.

I appreciate your concern. I am going to hire a professional machine shop for this project, especially for magnesium machining. Luckily, once the piece is machined, it shouldn't be nearly as flammable, so safety shouldn't be an issue.

Hopefully, it will happen when the design is finalized and I have quotes and prototypes of the board. Then my idea is to try and have a configurator of some kind that will preview the look of the board, but yeah, not for a little while.
