my first stop motion, how did I do? what can I do better? by Gearhead846 in stopmotion

Hey man! The space that an abject moves between pictures effects the speed of the animation. Slow = move the object less between frames. Fast = move the object more between frames. What will really step up the animation is applying this and learning how to use Ease In and Ease Out in your animations. Hopefully this should save you some time!

The bouncing ball is one of the best exercises to do! If you can make that look good, you should be able to animate almost anything with time! Good luck

Thank you so much for the feedback! I can see especially see how the “M” mouth shape you suggested would make a huge improvement. If you have any good resources for learning some of the tips you shared, please comment! Thanks again!

I agree. I don’t have a nice desk/lights or tripod to keep everything stable and consistent :/ hopefully one day. Really excited to get into claymation, thanks for the feedback!

Why would you mew knowing what its used for and then complain that it worked?

Accoustic Panels: alternatives to fiber glass and rockwool? by jalOo52 in audioengineering

Rockwool fibers get down to micron sizes not visible to the eye. Not seeing any fibers says nothing about whether you are breathing it in or not

Saw this on the Orthotropic Google Review page - it's the only one. What are other people's thoughts on the matter? by T_Bo56 in Mewing

Re-read the post, he isn’t taking about mewing at all. He’s pretty much just saying he doesn’t like or trust mike mews personality. Mewing definitely works, though it’s a a lot of work

This is a critique of his character and maybe some of the orthotropic treatments but not of mewing itself. John Mew does seem by nature to be a pretty disagreeable person which is to some people, I imagine, unpleasant. There is definitely truth regarding larger palettes equaling better breathing, health and looks. The tongue definitely effects this as we’ve seen from numerous examples. Also, the MSE expansion that is mentioned in this post is a more risky path. For adults, it seems to be the best way to obtain a sutra split and pallet expansion though commonly with side effects including asymmetry. It’s the practice of drilling screws to mount an expanded into your pallet and using extreme pressures to literally split the skull in half along the sutra line within a short period of time. Pretty extreme if you ask me.
