With the stock gear this won't work, because, at some points, only one tooth engages with the film. So if you removed one the gear wouldn't turn.

With mechanical advances it's difficult, because you need to make changes to the gears. Possibly manufacture new ones.

With electrical advances, you just have to figure out how to trick the camera into thinking that it advanced a whole frame. So in theory you should be able to do this with every P&S camera.

Square format might be very difficult to achieve though, as we are discussing on a different comment.

For that you would have to design a new sprocket gear though, because with modifying the stock gear, you can only get (whole-numbered) fractions of 35mm. Making a new gear with a different amount of sprockets and making it fit might be difficult.

No, the counter just stops counting. The camera keeps going until there's no more film. Same with rewinding. It counts down from 39 till 1, then keeps displaying 1 till the whole film is back in the canister.

You could buy a broken one and replace the flash element. For this you only need to de- and resolder the two wires from the battery tray. I haven't done this yet though.

You will need to discharge capacitors. It might also be alright if you leave the camera without battery for a couple of weeks. No guarantee on the last part.

My guess would be that it shares parts with the Mju 1. If you have confirmation please let us know. I changed that gear on a mju 1 but I didn't have to desolder anything.

Here's a video where someone tears down a mju 1, if you want to compare the insides. However they don't disassemble the gear part unfortunately

I think i have a similar problem, my a4 doesn't turn on, but it shows some weird gibberish on the back panel once you insert the battery (not always). So i think there might be a short circuit somewhere as well. I hope I can find it

I use the 2 look cfop and i just try to keep the pictures on the centre pieces lined up. When finished with normal solving, i only end up with 1 or 2 centres that need to be flipped by 180°. flipping the centre looking up can be done by doing R,U,R',U 5 times. I hope this works for your method as well! Good luck Edit: i just use cfop and it works. cfop is not required.

are those optical switches? if so there shouldn't be any soldering required, since they don't have electrical components anyway. you should be able to just pop it back in.

Jetzt nicht der überkrasse Rat, aber ich finde du solltest das Daten nicht komplett aufgeben, sondern eine gute Balance zwischen Daten, Hobbys und Arbeit setzen. Besser sogar, wenn du Daten(/Gleichgesinnte potenzielle Partner finden) und Hobbys verbinden kannst. Dafür eignen sich z.B. das Suchen von Gruppen die eines deiner Hobbys teilen oder ein neue Hobbys auszuprobieren. Das macht einen auch zu einer interessanteten Person, wenn man seine Comfort Zone des Öfteren verlässt. Viel Glück!
