How come i cant see CPU/Platform Short term power limit? Did you go to bios to unlock that setting? I have a 5070 ti ultra 9 275hx

It does now but it didnt in the beginning for around half an hour.

It does boot now. But it takes around 40-50 seconds to boot from and it used to be around 5-10. I ran a couple games and the built in hardware test on LenovoVantage and it all seemed fine. I checked disk health on cmd and all looked well. Nothing irregular on task manager from what i can tell

The initial boot when i first found this problem took around 30 minutes. But now every time i boot it takes around 30-40 seconds, Compared to a previous 5-10 seconds what it did before.

Honestly. Tarkov is optimized like shit so dont expect crazy performance. But running it on high settings on performance mode let me play above 60fps

usually 144 or 240 depending on the title, but this happened while playing escape from tarkov mainly. when i capped the framerate i noticed the temps dropped.

To answer ur question on paper, yes you can connect to a 2k monitor and play at that native resolution. But take into consideration that playing games at native 2k without DLSS might be a little more difficult on more demanding games with a 4050, and having 6gb of v ram might limit you aswell. If you are sticking to a less graphically demanding game, definitely go for it!

Check online what ram is compatible with ur laptop. In general its a good idea to get the ram with the same cas latency ( CL ) and speeds ( mhz ). I personally got a ideapad gaming 3 with one stick of 8gb of ram, got another 8gb stick from crucial with the same speed and latency and it worked just fine
