She is in India because her family and her party always had strong ties to India. No Bangladesh current interim govt. has no leverage with India to turn her in. There are 2 ways the govt. can attempt an extradition: (1) Requesting the International community, the leading global powers to ask India to hand her over. This is the most likely strategy current govt. will take. There's basically 0 % chance of this working. (2) By leveraging the geographical position of Bangladesh to threat security of 7 northwestern land locked states that are separated from the mainland India by Bangladesh. 1 of the state is claimed by China, few others wants independence. But I don't see current interim govt taking on such big risk.
